American Physical Therapy Association hosted its annual Combined Sections Meeting at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado February 12-15th with a record-setting attendance of over 18,000 physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. Local therapists Denise McClurg, PTA, Shirley VanLoenen, PTA, and Danielle Bohl, PT attended earning continuing education in the most recent evidence-based practice models and techniques in the areas of dementia, pelvic health, pediatrics, orthopedics, and neuromuscular treatment.
While there, the therapists participated in a step challenge raising $10,000 for the LuBird's Light Foundation to build a one-of-a-kind inclusive playground for children and families of all needs.
