Questions and Inquiries

Aging brings many joys: grandchildren, more free time in retirement, and wisdom gained over the decades. But, at the same time, our older years can also bring the loss of loved ones, stresses of age-related health concerns, or diminished self-esteem.

Phillips County Health Systems' Senior Life Solutions program, an intensive outpatient group counseling program, is designed to meet the unique needs of individuals typically 65 years of age and older struggling with symptoms of depressions and anxiety often related to aging.

If you or someone you know suffers from any of the following, this program might be right for you.

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Memory Loss

  • Unresolved grief

  • Difficulty Sleeping

  • Social withdrawal

  • Low self-confidence

  • Loneliness or sadness

  • Deterioration of daily living skills

Our team includes a board-certified psychiatrist, a licensed therapist, a registered nurse, and other professionals that are dedicated to the emotional well-being of those in need.

Following an individual assessment, patients meet up to three times per week in a supportive, encouraging group setting.  The program is also offering emotional support to patients from the comfort of their homes.  Teletherapy services are offered via telephone or computer, without the need to meet in person.

Referrals to the program can be made by anyone, including a patient’s physician, family member, self-referral, or another healthcare professional.
