Phillips County Health Systems Welcomes New Physical Therapist

Phillips County Health Systems (PCHS) is proud to welcome Brooke Wright, PT, to our Rehabilitation Department. Brooke joins our team of expert therapists dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered excellence to the people of Phillips County and surrounding communities.
Brooke recently earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Before pursuing her doctorate, she graduated with High Distinction from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Community Health and Wellness. Her academic journey has been marked by numerous honors, including being named a Husker Traditions Scholar, Regents Scholar, Student Leadership Scholar, and earning Dean’s List honors. Most recently, was awarded the Physical Therapy Joseph F. Norman Service Award, and the Delta Phi Tau National PT Honor Society at UNMC.
Brooke’s professional experience includes working as a rehabilitation technician, where she supported patient care and developed a deep appreciation for the role physical therapy plays in improving lives. In addition to her clinical and academic achievements, Brooke has demonstrated a remarkable commitment to giving back. Volunteering her time to support various organizations, assist at community health events, and mentor peers throughout her academic career.

She completed diverse clinical rotations in both Nebraska and Oregon, gaining hands-on experience with a variety of patient populations and rehabilitation techniques. This well-rounded training has equipped her with the skills and insight to provide personalized, patient-centered care close to home.
A native of Lincoln, Nebraska, Brooke now lives in the area with her husband, Cooper. She enjoys spending her free time at the lake and with her family, and is looking forward to becoming part of the local community.
“I chose to work at PCHS because I felt welcomed and celebrated by the people and the community here,” said Brooke. “As someone who recently moved to the area, it made me excited to be part of something so special and grow my career while surrounded by like-minded individuals.”
