PCHS WELCOMES MEGAN SUCHSLAND, PHYSICAL THERAPIST

PCHS

Phillips County Health Systems is pleased to announce the expansion of their clinical rehabilitation team with the addition of a new physical therapist, Megan Suchsland.

Megan will be a familiar face to many of the patients she serves, as she grew up in Agra, KS and graduated from Phillipsburg High School. Megan received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Saint Mary and her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Kansas State University.

“I am excited to return to the community that I grew up in,” said Suchsland. “I worked as a Rehab Aid at Phillips County Health Systems for a summer break during my undergraduate schooling and this department had a big influence on my decision to become a physical therapist. It’s like coming full circle to return to my hometown and work for the department that sparked my initial interest in this area of healthcare.”

In her free time, Megan enjoys helping her parents on the farm, spending time with her nieces and nephews, and enjoys discovering new sports with old friends - like pickleball with Halee Thompson and curling with Raegan Vanderplas.

To learn more about the Phillips County Health Systems’ physical therapy program and the services provided, please call the office at 785-540-4949. A physician’s referral or prescription is not required in order to be evaluated by a physical therapist.
