Beginning April 2, 2020, at 8:00 PM, Phillips County Hospital will discontinue allowing visitors at the hospital due to a positive COVID-19 in an adjacent county. (There are no positive cases in Phillips County at this time.)

For the protection of our patients and staff, Phillips County Health Systems has enacted a no-visitor policy. All patients to the hospital must enter through the Emergency Department. All patients will be screened by staff upon arrival. If you suspect you have COVID-19, please call 785-540-4911 before entering the hospital to receive further instructions on how to proceed.

**Medical appointments and services are exempt from the Kansas Stay at Home Executive Order and we urge you to still seek appropriate medical care and keep your appointments. We have the precautions in place to keep you safe during your appointment.**

Thank you for helping us in being cautious and vigilant during this time. We do not have any confirmed COVID-19 cases in Phillips County at this time and we hope to see it stay that way by increasing precautions. Together, we will get through this.

Transparency in Coverage Rule

Phillips County Health Systems complies with applicable Federal civil rights laws. Phillips County Health Systems does not discriminate, exclude, or treat individuals differently on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

The Department of Health and Human Services’, Transparency in Coverage Rule, requires health plans to create a member-facing price comparison tool and post publicly available machine-readable files. These files must be updated monthly and include in-network negotiated payment rates and historical out-of-network charges for covered items and services, including prescription drugs.  The purpose of this Rule is to help you know the cost of your healthcare before receiving the care.

No one will be denied access to service due to the inability to pay. All applications for sliding fee schedules and discounts will be accepted. Eligibility is determined by family size and income.
