Phillips County Health System (PCHS) Outpatient Specialist Clinic proudly welcomes Sheri Jonsson, a highly skilled and passionate Registered Dietitian, to our team. Sheri's arrival reinforces PCHS’s commitment to providing a comprehensive array of services tailored to meet the diverse healthcare needs of our community, aligning seamlessly with our mission of patient-centered excellence.

Sheri Jonsson is more than just a dietitian; she's your guide to a healthier, happier life. With a background in Dietetics from Indiana University Purdue-University in Indianapolis, IN, and a Master's degree in Nutrition from Colorado State University, Sheri brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. For over two decades, she has been dedicated to helping Kansas communities with a wide range of nutritional needs and conditions, including diabetes/pre-diabetes, heart disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, renal disease, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, weight loss, and much more. Moreover, Sheri has extensive knowledge in navigating the utilization of valuable benefits provided by insurance plans such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Tri-Care, Medicare, and Medicaid.

Sheri and her husband, TJ, a Physical Therapist who recently became a member of our Rehabilitation Therapy Department, are a dynamic duo at PCHS. TJ has quickly become a prominent figure among our patients, and his dedication to their well-being is highly commendable. As a family, they share a love for outdoor adventures and cherish moments with their two sons – one residing in Colorado and the other pursuing higher education at Kansas State University.

Transparency in Coverage Rule

Phillips County Health Systems complies with applicable Federal civil rights laws. Phillips County Health Systems does not discriminate, exclude, or treat individuals differently on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

The Department of Health and Human Services’, Transparency in Coverage Rule, requires health plans to create a member-facing price comparison tool and post publicly available machine-readable files. These files must be updated monthly and include in-network negotiated payment rates and historical out-of-network charges for covered items and services, including prescription drugs.  The purpose of this Rule is to help you know the cost of your healthcare before receiving the care. 

No one will be denied access to service due to the inability to pay. All applications for sliding fee schedules and discounts will be accepted. Eligibility is determined by family size and income.
