Phillips County Health Systems has an immediate opening for a full-time cook to join our Nutritional Services team. This full-time position is a great opportunity for someone looking to be a team player.

 

The position assists in the preparation of meals for our patients, staff, and visitors by prepping food, serving meals, and maintaining a clean workspace. The position also trains under the cook to be able to fulfill Dietary Aide and Cook positions. This may include heating prepared meals, baking, cutting and prepping vegetables, etc. Also maintain a clean, sanitary, and efficient kitchen. Attend to the dining room area by proper cleaning, washing, and stocking. 

This full-time position works either 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM shifts and rotating weekends and holidays.

A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.

Transparency in Coverage Rule

These files must be updated monthly and include in-network negotiated payment rates and historical out-of-network charges for covered items and services, including prescription drugs.  The purpose of this Rule is to help you know the cost of your healthcare before receiving the care.
