6a-6p ER Nurse Part-Time every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation. Experience as a Registered Nurse is required. The ER Nurse manages, organizes and administers nursing care for patients of all ages under the supervision of a Provider. The ER Nurse will float to the inpatient unit to offer assistance during downtimes in the ER. Strong applicants will have excellent leadership, conflict resolution, and patient education skills. The applicant should have the ability to work in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are preferred. The ER Nurse will adhere to the values of PCHS by exhibiting teamwork, communication, accountability, commitment, customer service, professionalism, as well as meeting safety and quality standards. Certification requirements include a current Registered Nurse license for the State of Kansas, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.  NRP is required within 6 months of hire.
