OPPORTUNITY / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a key member of the leadership team, the Chief Financial Officer works with an exceptionally talented leadership team and a committed, dedicated Board of Trustees. Working collaboratively with an entrepreneurial CEO, Board of Trustees and Leadership Team, this financial leader will have a strong background in revenue cycle, experience developing and implementing strategic initiatives, assisting with the creation of solid business plans and analyses while having the flexibility to adapt to constant change in a competitive critical access hospital environment. EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of hospital financial leadership experience ideally serving in a CFO capacity desirable (experience working as a controller or accountant in a larger hospital or organizational is acceptable.)
Experience in financial change management and new program development.
Operational knowledge of physician practice management
Experience in Critical Access Hospital environments is highly preferred
Effective communicator, presenter, and mentor of others.
Strong project management experience desired
Experience with joint ventures and new services justifications
In-depth knowledge of third-party reimbursement including managed care contracting and Medicare cost reporting
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required, master’s degree and/or CPA preferred
Good teamwork skills essential
