PROFILE

At Phillips County Health Systems, Carmen is focused on providing behavioral health care in the primary health care setting. She provides interventions and counseling to promote the treatment of the whole person. Carmen is dedicated to reducing the stigma of mental health and continues to help normalize the treatment of mental health issues like any physical condition.
Carmen is married to her "wonderful country boy," Trevor, and has 2 busy boys, Connor and Kale. They live on a family farm, where her husband spends most of his days with his cattle or farm equipment. They have two dogs Tucker (German Shepherd) and Millie (Australian Shepherd mix). "I wouldn’t say I am a true farm girl, but I do get dirty from time to time helping out."
Carmen enjoys camping at the lake with her family. They all enjoy the fun and activities that the outdoors has to offer; tubing, fishing, and hiking in Colorado. She also loves to watch her boys play sports and cheering on her favorite football team, the K-State Wildcats.
