Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse Manager

We are offering a unique opportunity to be part of a collaboration in technology that has been developed to redefine how Dialysis services are delivered to our rural communities.

The Acute Dialysis Registered Nurse will require a forward-thinking facilitator that can assist in the development and implement the nursing structure of our dialysis program.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum ADN or Diploma; BSN preferred.

  • Current RN license in the state of Kansas required. Current CPR and ACLS certification through American Heart Association

  • One or more years of experience as a registered nurse.

  • One year of acute or chronic dialysis experience.

  • Basic computer skills and in MS Word and Outlook preferred.

Essential Functions:

  • Plans and provides patient care for patients in the hospital in accordance with physician orders and hospital policy and procedures.

  • Provides quality direct patient care and renal replacement therapies independently, in a professional, considerate and respectful manner.

  • Supervises and directs patient care of other teammates in a treatment area that may or may not be licensed.

Other Valued Skills:

  • Knowledge of the Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis Process.

  • Capable to lead and oversee the dialysis process performed by Dialysis Technicians. Demonstrated ability to assist with providing quality outcomes and tracking of metrics.

  • Provide treatments in a safe, therapeutic and cost-effective manner.
